UK TV viewing down, social networking up
By Mike DavisonOver 50% of UK 16-24 year olds are now using social networking sites at least once per week. They are also watching less TV in favour of the web. Among the same demographic, nearly 20% say they run their own blog and over 30% share comments, opinions and media in the blogosphere. These figures are twice the national average.
All this from the latest Ofcom study of UK communications.
