More evidence (see also here) that the most influential of purchasers, the mother, relies heavily on Word of Mouth to guide purchasing decisions. WOM, the evidence suggests, is especially important due to this group not having the time (or inclination) to factor in traditional advertising. Latest Ketchum research here.

Not a term I have heard before but struck a chord when doing the daily blog dig. Thanks to Dave Duarte for the path to this article from Marketingweb’s Reg Lascaris. Great stuff but one thing stuck. This assertion:

Chad Hurley, YouTube Chief Exec, recently spoke at the OgilvyOne Digital Summit in New York and had this to say;
