Baby mommas are bloggers
By Sam ChimesMashable has been talking about mothers online and how the ever-expanding internet user base is a demographic in constant flux. Specifically, new born babies entering the world in a blaze of social media glory. An example is Mena Trott’s dedication to the art of blogging as she updated her readers via her mobile phone from the hospital as she gave birth. Arguably, this is an extreme case in point; Mena is after all a founder of the new media start up, Six Apart.
What the piece does illustrate though, is that habitual users of sites including Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and many other Social Media spaces are entering adulthood with no let up on the necessity to stay connected.
