Barcamp is coming to Oxford

1000heads ethicist, Sylwia Presley has jumped headlong into the fray of organising duties with OSS Watch, Apache Software Foundation and Torchbox to pull together BarCamp Oxford 2009!

BarCamp Oxford ‘09 is set to begin with an evening meal on Saturday 4^th April and then roll into full swing throughout Sunday 5^th at the University Club. Although BarCamps are by nature events of liquid design, taking whatever form is necessary, the Oxford event is hoping to get the geek community of the city of dreaming spires mixing with academic/hacker types.

Attendance is free, though BarCamp is all about participation, be it from having a drink with someone you’ve never met before to presenting formally or informally.
