‘Conversations that sell’ goes down a storm
By Molly FlattI’m still digesting all the good discussions from yesterday’s ‘Conversations That Sell’ conference, where I was presenting ‘Talk@ or Talk 2.0: Turning buzz into conversation’ alongside Jess from Contagious, who was talking about trends in digital marketing, and David Sable from Wunderman, discussing the dangerous seduction of data.
The turnout was a great mix of agency bods and representatives from a whole host of bluechips, and the atmosphere was incredibly positive. I definitely got the sense that attendees were eager to approach word of mouth as a sustained, pervasive discipline rather than a digital add-on, and that ‘in this difficult climate’ (sorry, Jess) there is a real willingness from brands to change both the way they work internally and the way they engage with their customers.
There’s some nice WOM trickling through about the event but these tweets made me particulary happy - thanks Ilicco and Jon!
