The last three things I talked about

By Robbie Dale

Here’s a game, what were the last three things that you had an emotionally charged conversation about… and why? I’ll kick off (it would be dull post otherwise, it still might be… we’ll find out soon!)

1. Brahma beer. Why? Because the product itself is great and I’ll bang on it about it in any bar it isn’t available in, and bang on more if it is.

2. The London Graphic Centre in Covent Garden. Why? Because it has everything you need in the design/painty/drawy/graphic world. It’s served me well in the past so when people need certain items, it’s somewhere I’ll recommend.

3. Galway. Apparently it’s very nice, but I’ve never been. I was looking for a recommendation on somewhere nice in Ireland. Why was it recommended? Local pride I think!

So there you go, a few different things, a few different reasons for discussion. A personal love for a product; a good experience of service from a business; a deep emotional attachment which may or may not be grounded in reality… and there are plenty of other reasons we talk.

What were the last things you actively brought into conversation, and why?
