The dishes have landed
By Tim DenyerIf you regularly roam the streets of London, Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham or Newcastle, you might have noticed something a bit odd. A bit like this:

Yes, that’s a great big satellite dish, in the national colours of Nigeria, on a bike. There are 32 of them, each in the colours of a country competing in the World Cup, and they’re installed on buildings, on boats, in trees and, yes, on bicycles – and other somewhat startling locations. They’re a bit disorienting, and they’re causing a bit of a stir.

We don’t just rabbit on about the importance of offline word of mouth triggers, we get in our white van and plant them. They are of course part of a melting pot of online social goodness too, focused on upping the level of World Cup debate in conjunction with freesat.
But we need your help. We have a shiny dish sitting here representing our own brilliant (or was that hopeless?) boys, emblazoned with St George’s flag. We’re going to put it somewhere in London, but where?
You choose. Nominate your most conversational place in the comments below, and we’ll get the car keys.
