Well, the World Cup is in full swing and despite the lack of the Tartan Army out in South Africa, I’m still enjoying it. Not least because of awesome projects like this, from The Guardian, that allow the revisiting of great moments time and time again…

Using data from Twitter, you can see what people were talking about at each stage of every game played in the tournament so far. Spot ITV crop up in the England vs USA match for example. Lovely stuff.

    How 'open' is world cup data, I suspect FIFA lock most of it down, which is kinda pointless. So the guardian (kings of opening their own data, via API's) use crowdsourced data that proves more interesting than any official info.
